Free Thanksgiving Dinner at The Hall at Fauntleroy

The 14th free community Thanksgiving meal is hosted by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes owners Meg and David Haggerty and David Meckstroth. Dessert donations gladly accepted.

Volunteer at Nickelsville with the Vietnamese Cultural Center

For the second year in a row, the Vietnamese Cultural Center needs your help to bring flu shots, haircuts, and hot food to Nickelsville residents on Thanksgiving Day. To volunteer, simply show up.

Holiday Carousel Presented by King5 Benefitting Treehouse

Proceeds from the Holiday Carousel at Westlake Center all go to Treehouse for Kids—a nonprofit supporting local foster kids. Ride any time between November 23 and January 1 to help give foster kids a better future.

Black Friday Sale

For the second year in a row, Second Use offers their popular Black Friday Sale—10% off all purchases—to encourage the "99 percent" to support small businesses.

Protest Walmart's deplorable human rights record by participating in this national boycott on Black Friday.

Duwamish Native Holiday Gift Fair

Celebrate National Native American Heritage Day (and Black Friday) with the Duwamish. The public is welcome to the local tribe's longhouse for a festive marketplace of handmade crafts, art, smoked salmon, jewelry, and more.

This documentary explores the volatile life of extremist skateboarder Brewce Martin, who has built a "sovereign nation" in Appalachia based on his own societal rules. Yet, adamant anarchist that he is, Martin still can’t seem to completely free himself from bill collectors and jail.
